Congrats to our new King and Queen
From the President
Another successful Mardi Gras season has wrapped up and it sure was FUN! I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. It makes all of the hard work and preparation worth it. We can’t put on the ball and parade without the hard work and contributions of the members of the Krewe, so Thanks to ALL of You who helped make this another memorable year. I want to thank Sylvia for the wonderful ball this year. She puts so much time & effort into the ball so we can all enjoy it and it really shows because it was an incredible production. John did an outstanding job with our parades this year. Everyone enjoyed themselves, the weather really cooperated, the crowds had fun, and John had the whole production organized and running smoothly and parade captain is a tough job. Sylvia & John couldn’t do these jobs without help so thanks to all who helped them. Now it’s time to look forward to a New Year. Our 40th Anniversary! Let’s work hard to make it a great year and make the Krewe better so we can enjoy another 40 years. Congratulations to King Jupiter XXXX Kenny Study & Queen Leda XXXX Jamie Lord. I know you will represent the Krewe well.
Looking forward to another great year!

Pass Parade Information
Chase, Betsi & John attended a meeting held by the St Paul Carnival Association, regarding the Pass Parade. The Chief of Police from Pass & the Parade Captain, spoke. The following information was passed:
- Keep trash, boxes, litter aboard the float. There will be dumpsters at the parking area to dispose of trash after the parade.
- The floats MUST be in place not later than 0930, Sunday, roads will be closed after that. WE ARE FLOAT #14 which puts us near the front. We’ll be leaving the den not later than 0800, to get there by 0900.
- Safety is the primary concern, so local law enforcement personnel will be monitoring both crowd & reveller’s behavior. If you’re on a float STAY on the float.
- NO NUDITY or profane music or actions.
- There will be car parking at the old ballfield location in the Pass…HOWEVER Stopping the float on 2nd ave at the end of the parade will be prohibited…so it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED that riders load & ride the float from the den to the parade, and back.
There was other information passed, relevant to the drivers of floats. The specific point of the meeting was to discuss how to make the parade safer, cleaner, and more family oriented
